Re: MN1 referee question (urgent)

Hi All, I am going to apply for my daughter's (under 6) naturalization next week and need an urgent help please. We have 2 referees. Both are pharmacists, over 25 and British citizens. Obviously, both know our child personally since birth and one of them was also prescribing medicines to her. Quest...

Re: Citizenship - student and no insurance

Hi I am trying to put all the papers together to apply for BC. I am EU citizen and have my PR dating July 2016. I worked until may 2016 and was also a student, therefore I got my PR based on me working. I started working again in Oct 2017 after finishing my studies. Now I need to provide evidence o...

Re: Tight deadline

Hello,

I am presuming you obtained your medical degree in Germany. When you moved to the UK to work/train as a doctor/GP, did you not have to do the IELTS to be able to register with the GMC?

father of boyfriend - professional referee

Hi,

am I allowed to use the father of my boyfriend as my 1st reference?
He is of professional standing (retired police officer, honours by Queen) and has known me for 5+ years.
I am not married to my boyfriend nor are we in a civil partnership.

Thanks!

If you’re going to use NCS you need to complete the paper form. You can’t use NCS if you apply online.
oh...I didn't know that! thank you!

A German ID Card cannot show a foreign address as you can't register in Germany (Einwohnermeldeamt) with a foreign address.
Your UK address is shown on your application form of course plus other documents you will submit.
Phew! Great! Thank you Alterhase!

Re: Unsuccessful applications

Hi Kat, really sorry to hear that. May I ask when you applied for your Residency card (i.e. when did that mistake happen)? Officially there's little you can do. However it is wrong to simply withhold such large sums of money based on such a zero-service, minor formality (rules or no rules). I there...

BC Application EEA member - ID card address???

Hello,

I am in the process of applying for BC. I am hoping to use my German ID for my application. Having looked at it closely, it has my parents' address on it i.e. where I was born.
What are the implications of this? Does the ID card require to have a British address on it?

Thanks!

Re: Can NHS Prescription penalty charge affect application?

Hello, I am not sure whether I can give you the answer to your question, but I have received a similar letter. In my situation I was not at fault and only had to produce the number on my exemption card. There is a contact number on the penalty letter, have you tried calling them to explain. Furtherm...

The document you have is a Document Certifying Permanent Residence (as it says in the second picture), DCPR in short, and is the correct document required for submitting with a naturalisation application. Relax and best of luck with the application.
Thank you!
