Hi everyone, just an update on my case. I got a letter saying my pr card will come in 10 working days. The date I should have acquired permanent residency was 12th december 2016. Thank you to everyone on immigration boards for their help and advice.

If you have your ex id and he signed then you don’t necessarily need to explain anything. I wrote a cover letter because the circumstances weren’t straightforward for me.

It depends. The page where your ex signed, is it dated? The date could be an issue as it would be a lot more later than when you apply. Are you providing his id? The most recent form thats on the website is from this year (march 2019) so I would suggest using the address on that form, because it could be that the guidance notes hasn’t been updated yet. I did use the same form in my application when it got rejected. So I would say yes you can use the same form. But you might need to reprint the pages that are dated and signed, like the payment page and sponsor and applicant declaration pages.

My issue is not solved yet but after a third application, with a very detailed cover letter highlighting the regulations and explanation on how I satisfy it, I got a letter to register my biometrics. I will update you if I get issued with a PR.
