Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Has anyone seen any application in July who's got the decision by now solely using IDV app (no in-person appointment)?

Re: Update in the tracking system

I did actually, because I was also sceptical about it. But since they confirmed that a decision was made on the 10th of August more than one time, and I also received this confirmation later from Sheffield's email address, I think that was the case and the decision was made long ago. I think it's pe...

Update in the tracking system

Hi all! After such a long delay in passport pick up I checked the VAC online tracking system and I noticed a change. the "decision made" stage was marked. It was not marked before, however that a decision had been made on the 10th of August. Is it a good sign? Do you think after this check...

Re: Never got the passport back

Btw, how did you find out that you file got stuck somewhere due to a human error? Did they tell you anything? Because I was in the same state as you are until yesterday, I can totally understand what you are going through. I had pull all my connections to find someone within the embassy to review my...

Re: Never got the passport back

Thanks alot. Right now that there is no hope, your answer was like a light, or some cold calming water on my anger fire. I tried to call the local number of the consulate. Someone answered and did her "answering machine" task at the best, just referring me to the UKVI email and phone numbe...

Never got the passport back

I have been told by UKVI that a decision has been made on my application on the 10th of August. Since then I haven't received my passport back yet. What could be the reason for such a delay? Really? Lack of visa sticks? Loosing my application? Placing my application at the end of anyone else and nev...

Re: Email from Sheffield

Did you get any updates since then? When was your application date? And from where? Hi, I got a similar mail from Sheffield on September 6th and was very excited about it for a few days. But I have not received the passport yet. We are pretty much on the same boat I think. Tier 2 general, priority a...

Now that they have asked you to submit your passport, it means you're gonna get your visa soon. Let us know when you got your visa. Please give us an update here whenever you get an answer from TLScontact. The TLSContact doesn't provide an answer about this things. Today I have got an email that ask...

Re: Visa Progress After Administrative Review

I have the similar case like you. But I must say that probably we should expect a longer delay. I'm telling that based on the new visa processing timeline in Istanbul, which clearly mentioned tier2 takes up to 60 working days. I'm waiting now for 24 working days. Yes, I found that the CoS expiration...

Able to travel with Biometrics card and without the visa?

Since the University has notified me that my Biometrics card is ready to be collected, I wanted to if I can get a new passport, ask them to send me the Biometrics card and travel to the UK? or not? Since I have not got my passport from TLS back yet.

Re: Tier 2 (General, new hires) Priority delays.

They also told me the same thing that my passport is at the consulate, but I couldn't even go inside the consulate. They didn't let me in. The security gaurd was giving me the same junky crap UNVI email address we all know. Actually I got the feeling that the idea behind building TlsContact centers ...

Re: Tier 2 (General, new hires) Priority delays.

Biometrics 7th of August in Istanbul. Since then nothing. UKVI in Sheffield has made a decision on 10th of August. Escalation on 6th of September. It's really annoying. I'm really frustrated. Hope I was an Indian and could apply there as apparently those are taking less time. I have the filling that...

Delay in receiving visa's answer

I applied for the Tier 2 General Visa in Istanbul on the 7th of August using the Priority service. The home office received my documents on the 8th of August 2018. Until now I have not heard anything from them. I contacted the UKVI and they said that the decision has already been made and now TlsCon...
