Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

Thanks Ticktack,

Yes, I understand that the caseworker will know the rules.

But will s/he know that the expired B1 certificate we submitted was part of our successful FLR(M) application?
Or should we make the caseworker aware of this by means of an 'additional information' footnote?

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

My wife attained her B1 English test (GESE Grade 5) from Trinity College in April 2022. This was submitted as part of her successful FLR(M) application in May 2022. Still on the approved list , but obviously the certificate has now expired . We have submitted this same certificate as part of this cu...

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

Thank you and apologies for the confusion. In the past, we paid for a priority service and attended an appointment in Croydon, where we received a decision while we waited. For some reason, I was expecting similar, but the application process has clearly changed. Once an application is submitted, is...

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

Thanks again for your prompt response, Zimba... That's understood. We've made a UKVCAS appointment for next week. But, once supporting documents and biometrics are submitted, I just wonder how UKVI will recognise our application as Super Priority. Do we need to inform UKVCAS, or will our application...

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

Thanks very much, Zimba... Okay, so we've completed and submitted our application just now. We paid the extra £1000 for Super Priority, but I can't yet see how this Super Priority will work. It seems that we still continue to book a standard appointment with UKVCAS. Is it simply a case that, assumin...

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

For our ILR application, we will be relying on Category D, cash savings, in order to meet the financial requirements. 1. Is £34,600 (£16,000 + £18,600) the required amount needed to be held for the past six months? 2. I've read through Appendix FM several times, and am a little perturbed by the word...

Re: ILR Application - SET(M)

Many thanks for the your very prompt response, CR001

So, just out of interest, we actually have until 11 December 2024 (the date her FLR expires) to submit her ILR application?

Free Childcare eligibility

Hello All. Apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere on the boards; I can't find a definitive answer: I am a UK citizen. Wife on five-year spouse route. Arrived 2019; we will be applying for her ILR later this year. She has NRPF. I work full time, my wife does not currently work. We hav...

Re: FLR(M) - Queries

Sorry, another couple of quick questions...

Is it necessary to take original copies of our scanned & uploaded documents to the biometrics appt?

Regarding service-standard decision times, do we count days from the application date or the biometrics appt date?

FLR(M) - All of our documents have been scanned and uploaded. We are now presented with the option: Submit your uploaded documents to UKVI - You now have the option to submit your uploaded documents before your appointment takes place. This action can only be performed once. :?: Is there any reason ...

Re: FLR(M) - Queries

Thanks vm for the quick reply, Char.
She has various other visas & stamps in her passport so we'll get on with uploading those too.

Assuming a successful application, is she required to return her current BRP eventually... or just bin it?

Re: FLR(M) - Queries

Re: FLR(M) - Queries

Under Further actions you must complete : Attend an appointment to provide your documents and biometrics by 15 June 2022 . Is this usual? Obviously this is well beyond my wife's current visa expiry date. I assumed documents / biometrics would need to be submitted before the visa expires? That date ...
