You seem to have unwittingly helped your clients in money laundering. I am assuming that their unwillingness to pay you by cheque resulted from their inability to account for the cash component of the payment. I also assume that you invoiced them for only the cheque amounts and not for the cash part...

The service (in-person applications) is available but you may not be informed of the decision on the same day because of self-employed income being included. It is likely that a decision be deferred until such time that UKBA completes verification checks regarding your self-employed income. regards...

Does anyone know that if UKBA or the Home Office have the access to your very personal details e.g. they can go in to your bank accounts and check who payed the money and where did it come from etc to confirm the amount on your bank statements? I emailed them to the address as mentioned by mitesh ...and their reply was the same ...Please await decision don't think anybody can get more than this out from them ...quite eccentric and unprofessional reply...if u send them court ruling then they might divulge..more UKBA or BHC is not under any...

Delay in processing time. My 2 friends who applied on 3rd and 22nd Dec got their visa then why is my application under process for so long even though I applied before them and had similar documentation ie. same company and college.
