Re: Info to apply British passport for newborn outside the Uk to British father

My baby is in the same situation.

I've been told that the baby is automatically a BC. Alll you need to do is apply for the British passport.

Re: Child born outside UK

Thank you very much for the quick response. It’s a good news for me. I am the biological and named father within the birth certificate. I spoke with the passport office and they informed me to send the following supporting documents along with a PAPER application form. I don’t think the requested do...

Child born outside UK

I applied my British citizenship as a divorcee through long residency (10 years route). At the time I was having an unmarried partner who was living in Sri Lanka. However, I haven’t included my partner in my citizenship application as we weren’t married at the time. Also she has never been under Bri...

Re: Referee for British Citizenship

He's been in the UK for 10 years now and he got his ILR by 10 years long residence last month . He doesn't have his old payslips or P60s from his previous employments anymore. I thought people have to hold their ILR for full 12 months to apply for the citizenship!! You need to check this with exper...

Re: Link between passport fee deduction and approval date for NDRS + JCAP

As a result, I am panicking as not sure what to do next - do I send them a letter, asking them to try again, do I call them (does anyone have a number?! couldn't find any) or do I wait until they send me a letter like yours? It will not affect your citizenship application. Give a quick call to HMPO...

Re: Entering UK between citizenship ceremony and receiving UK passport

I assume you cant travel if you attend to the ceremony. As you said your BRP will not be valid and you must submit it within 5 working days. Can't you postpone the ceremony until you comeback? Having said that my passport arrived within 7 days of attending to the ceremony but shouldnt take the risk ...

No, you write your name and DOB behind the photos and stick on the referee declarations then referees write their details in the referee declarations.

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

My Wife is from non-Eu so her passport has all the stamps from the occasions we have travelled. So no need to provide P60 and her payslips? Thanks It's not necessary (specially the salary slips) but there's no harm of taking your P60s to the NDRS appointment.I took both to my NDRS appointment but t...

Re: British Citizenship + Passport using online form and NDRS & JCAP service

- I have to include the tax office reference number , is this the same as my tax code? It is supposed to be on my payslips but I can only see the tax code. If I cannot find this on my payslips I guess I just have to ask my employer's finance department or HR? You need to ask from HR. it looks like ...

I think HO is forwarding the passport applications to HMPO after they received any citizenship applications before the decission made. HMPO process the payment and waiting until they received the citizenship application. Not sure though!

I am really pleased to find this forum. I wonder if you ca help me. I was married to my first husband in 1993. He left for Nigeria to look after his poorly father and never returned since then. I was later told he had died in a car crash in nigeria which helped me to move on with my life. In bliss ...

Re: urgent: paying for british passport and naturalization

Your register office will send you a paper copy of passport application to your home address before the NDRS appointment. You need to add your card details in that paper form. They will send you some extra info to tell you what to complete as its bit different to other normal applicants.

Yes that’s called JCAP. You need to submit your online application and then at the NDRS appointment the registrar will submit the passport application form along with the naturalisation supporting docs.

Re: Uk naturalization -Good character-Parking fines and cigarette butt FPN and CPN-

Oh Carlos I don’t know what to say man!

Overall questions:
* can these situations jeopardize good character evaluation? Yes
* is it worth to apply for the naturalization with this situation? May be not

😱
