Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

basically what INIS are potentially saying is there are 3000 people already lined up for the ceremony in april, and those 3000 all have already received approval....

so those who havent received approval - i.e us, may have to wait until a ceremony in late summer?

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

Initially, I was of the opinion it is pure laziness or incapability of bureaucrats. But now I strongly believe it is a well-engineered policy with a combination of laziness, randomness, and disguise to covertly keep the anti-immigrant policy intact and limit the numbers below certain numbers and ob...

Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

I posted earlier in this thread - after applying in Oct 17 I received a letter looking for more information near the end of Dec 18 (not sure why they asked for this more info as I had given them it originally - and not sure why it took a year to ask for this!). Anyway sent back the required info and...

I also applied October 2017, April 2018 I got a later saying it's been processed in a normal way. Then a week ago I email asking for update again and they replied saying it's still being processed This mimics my timeline exactly, including the generic response recently. Re: Citizenship applications from 2017 pending approval

That's still first stage. I received the same and only after a few months another letter which clearly stated "second stage". Not necessarily, I received the same response after few months of the second stage letter being issued. No need to worry and don't over think. There is no common s...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

I certenly understand that Citizenship is privilege not a right. However, the point that you missing is that we are not anxious about getting approval.. The case is that we deserve a respond within 1 year yet the usual time frame is 6 months. Most of the people a definete answer within 6 months or ...
