My wife's ILR is expiring 31 Dec 2024. Do we need to renew it using the Biometric replacement service?

I know a new online system is going to live from January 2025, but I am not sure if we still need to do something online before the expiry date?

It starts from date of certificate of naturalisation. You also have to return your ILR brp card to HO within 5 days of your ceremony so you won't have that to be able to board a flight or enter the UK on rerun.
