Life in UK and English language requirement

Dear All,

I received ILR during Jan 2013. I had taken up life in the uk test then. Is there any expiry date for this test or is it valid for naturalisation application in 2016?

Thanks in advance.

Best,
Prabhu

Can someone confirm the dimension for the photo for passport renewal. The application form says 2x2 inch where as people have been saying different ones in the posts.

Thanks,

My ILR application is coming up in Feb 2013. [...] Today I was involved in an accident. [...] I was told I will be getting 3 points plus a fine. Will this disqualify me for my ILR? Is this what you are trying to say? Hi Lucapooka, Yes you are right. I could have conveyed the same thing in fewer wor...

Help. ILR application Feb 2013. Just involved in accident

I feel terrible. My ILR application is coming up in Feb 2013. Came here on HSMP in 2008 and have renewed once on Tier 1. Today I was involved in an accident. I drove on the wrong side in a slip road following other cars which did the same, because of a congestion on the M4. I wrongly assumed that th...

Re: Strange Tier1 Visa extension!!!

I am not an expert, but to me it appears they both have to go back after the current visa expiry. Then her husband can apply for a fresh tier-1 application claiming for UK experience, earnings etc. He can apply for his wife as dependent together, but this might complicate things. Hence best is to co...

@prabhus14 I think your application is fresh & not a review or complaint. If its a review or complaint the normal processing times have been incresed to 6-8 weeks which means 2 months or more is common. But if its a fresh application, you can request the Customer care to connect to the case wor...

Hi prabhus14, It seems to me that they are performing verification checks on your application. Normally, they ask your local British High Commission to contact your employer and verify information. Caseworker put up a verification request and do not look into your case for one month . So, I will su...
