Re: I'm naturalided as UK citizen: my child was born abroad

I tried that, but it asks for a "naturalisation or registration certificate" - and i made the assumption I needed to do the MN1 to receive one of those. It turns out that on the passport.gov.uk website it asks questions like "have you had a passport before?" and the answers are &...

I'm naturalided as UK citizen: my child was born abroad

Trying to navigate how to do this is difficult. I am very unsure of what forms to fill out in what order. I am a UK citizen, naturalised In 2019. I have a baby daughter (2 weeks old) born in Switzerland. I would like to get my daughter a British passport. I think this requires an MN1 form, but the o...

Entering UK between citizenship ceremony and receiving UK passport

I just got my British citizenship acceptance letter, huzzah! I applied for a passport via JCAP, so as I understand it, I will receive my passport 1-2 weeks after my citizenship ceremony. Unfortunately, I travel a lot for work and have some upcoming trips planned. So it might be that I will pop out o...

Re: NDRS Appointments - Are they really hard to get?

So: I had gone through a large number of councils by phone. A lovely lady at Southwark (my own) council gave me a cancellation appointment on the 24th (day 9 of 10), after I sweet talked the folks on the phone and told them how anxious I was. But! I found a secret here: Morton council do not accept ...

Re: NDRS Appointments - Are they really hard to get?

Another option would be to send in your originals and immediately request for your documents to be returned . Home Office website says they take "up to" 10 working days to return documents, but you might be lucky and get them back sooner. I know this isn't of much comfort if you absolutel...

Re: NDRS Appointments - Are they really hard to get?

Finally got it to work (had to debug some bad javascript): Camden have no appointments available in the next 10 days: I'll phone them tomorrow anyway to see what I can do.

Re: NDRS Appointments - Are they really hard to get?

I can't seem to get Camden's website to work, they're on my list to call tomorrow. Thanks for the direction: that's actually a good one for me to get to.

NDRS Appointments - Are they really hard to get?

I am currently having an issue, as I live in London, and have applied online for citizenship (and paid the ridiculously large fee), so the clock has started on submitting documents using NDRS. I travel for work, and have travel coming up very soon, so I cannot afford to be without my only travel doc...
