Dependent Visa Applied - VFS officers concern

The officer said that she would be making a note about it in our application. My question is, the p...

Dependent Visa - VAF2 Form query Section 6.3

How does one fill up the expected employment details of sponsor if the dependent is traveling and applying along with the primary HSMP applicant? Basically how to deal with Q6.3.8, 6.3.16 - 6.3.20?

I would be applying sometime mid week. Would appreciate any guidance.

Cheers.

Dependent Visa - English Language Requirement?

I am about to apply for my EC along with my wife as the dependent.

My question is, do we need to provide a English language of instruction letter from her university as well?

Thanks.

I think you can fax in additional documents as well. Will save you postage time. But not sure if they will accept a faxed copy.

I dont think you would be able to apply after 28 days. You may be able to find out the reason for your refusal by talking to the cust service. They provided me with a very detailed explanation over the phone and that helped me prepare my documents for review beforehand. You just need to fax your rea...

They do not contact your employer or uni during the initial application. They will only contact them during your entry clearance process.

No issues on that. Your age is calculated as on the day your application was received by the HSMP team and not the day the caseworker works on your application.

How about the name? My name is not added to my wifes passport as spouse and vice-a-versa, and her name on the passport is her maiden name.

However, on the marriage certificate, her name is mentioned using my last name. Would this cause any issues?

Thank you Amanda for the quick response.

We have a marriage certificate. However, her name on the marriage certificate has my last name.

Do you reckon that could pose as an issue?
