Spouse name inclusion on passport

I am about to apply for the EC. My wifes passport is in her maiden name. Would I need to include my name to my wifes passport for the EC process and her dependent visa? Would appreciate any feedback on the same. Need this urgently as if I am to apply for the changes to the passport, it would take qu...

I have got my HSMP approval and am looking at applying for my EC in a couple of months. What would be the best way to show fund as I do not have the funds in my account? I am planning to come to the UK with my spouse, so that would mean I would need to show about Rs. 8 lakhs. The only other assets o...

I just got my HSMP approval yesterday. Planning to apply for the EC in 1-2 months. Just a few questions: Would my spouse need to apply for the dependent visa? Does the dependent visa has the same rights (eg. full time work, etc) as the primary HSMP visa holder? Would Rs 7 lakhs cash be sufficient as...

HSMP approved

Hi all,

I faxed my review documents late Friday afternoon and got an approval on Monday.

Seems to me that it was indeed a simple oversight.

I am planning to enter the U.K. sometime mid February and will most likely apply for my EC in December.

Appreciate all your inputs.

Cheers!!!

Was the salary slip stamped & signed? You did not aner this question. Chicku - As mentioned earlier, I had provided stamped and signed wage slip and bank statements for the 12 months (August 2006 - July 2007). It sounds more like you gave the tax return rather than the statements of periodic sa...

Complaint or Appeal?

I was just informed that my HSMP application was rejected as I did not provide 12 separate Wage Slips. In my company the wage slips are provided on a fiscal year cumulative basis. ie. April to March. Therefore I provided 2 wage slips, one for the period April 2006 till March 2007 and another one wit...

Thanks SYH. I should get my documents back by Monday or Tuesday and would most likely go for an appeal. Any idea on the timelines? Victoria - Sorry for not clarifying, by cumulative wage slip I mean there are 12 separate columns for each month, clearly stating the net, gross and deductions under var...

Another thing, my wage slip is slightly different from the regular wage slips. I get a cumulative wage slip for the financial year. There are 12 columns for each financial month (April - March). At the end of each month, the corresponding months details are filled. So essentially, I would only be pr...

Thanks Gordon. My employer has mentioned that they would not be comfortable stamping and signing my wage slips. However, they have agreed to give me a letter on the company (Citigroup) letterhead stating my month by month salary break-up. Another quick question, do I need to write my HSMP form in bl...

Gordon, You are right, I guess I will just send in my proofs for the the period June 2006 - June 2007. Since my tax returns would not be sufficient for that period, I guess I will send in my wage slips, bank statements and letter from my employer. My wage slip does not have a stamp or signature, its...

Ball1333,

My wage slip has a break up by Net & Gross. Just thought would make it easier if I provided additional documentary evidence of my gross income.

Amy,

Thanks for clarifying that. My bank statements are pretty clear in stating the date the salary go in along with my employer name. However, it is pretty bulky and only has my net income as opposed to my gross income for which I am claiming.

Thanks again.

Push_HSMP,

I would try to get a new copy made. Not sure of the process. Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I could just send a notarized copy of my details page from my passport as being without a license indefinitely does not seem like an option.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Thank you all for your sharing your views. Amy, I would be looking at sending all bank statements and wage slips from 1st April 2006 till 1st July 2007. I am trying to arrange a letter from my bank stating the amount credited to my account on a month by month basis (this would be my net income). My ...
