Thanks a lot for the quick response.

Just another clarification, is the Saver account considered for maintenance of funds or does it have to be in a current account. Please note, the saver account is a super saver account and not a term / fixed deposit.

I had initially sent an e-mail to "wpcustomers@ukba.gsi.gov.uk" and was later told to e-mail "UKBApublicenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk".

I mailed them on 23rd February and got a reply this evening at around 6:30 pm.

Reincarnation,

You would need to modify the letter if you apply together. Also make sure that you friend clearly states the number of bedrooms available in the house and can accommodate you without over-crowding.

You would need to show the loan agreement as well as the bank statement. You are fine showing the MF and pension documents. But as far as possible liquid cash is the best and safest form.
