Confusion in a thread re Visa Ref #

One person says the Visa ref # is the VAF #; another advises it is the one in red on the top right of the visa sticker.

How many photos?

Applying for extension for four dependants as well as myself simultaneously from the UK.

Must I include two photographs of myself (main applicant) with each of my dependants'?

In other words, would I need to submit 10 photos of myself?? (2 + 2 x 4)
