I do not think you could come as an economic migrant but if you aplied for asylum here you would get a fair hearing and stand a reasonable chance of success. That's not correct. The right of residence in accordance with EC law is not dependent or conditional on the issuance of any document by Irish authorities.

As there is no provision in Irish nationality law to receive a certificate of naturalisation based on marriage to an EU national, I'm unsure as to which category you have applied under.
