Re: Delays in Skilled Worked Priority Visa

Hi All - I finally got a decision last night. I had called UKVI yesterday morning and that may have helped: You can call 0300 790 6268 - select options 2 -> 4 ->1 and then if your application is past their SLA, you can raise an escalation request (they will take some basic details from you such as U...

Visa Status Tracking, Complaints and Escalations

Hi, Applied for moving to a Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visa on 06th May (Priority Application) and did my Biometrics on 13th May. Its almost been a month without any updates. What is the best way to 'track' application status (I tried calling the Home Office but they couldn't provide any updates)? What's...

Re: Delays in Skilled Worked Priority Visa

Unfortunately, no Update for me either :(.

Can one of the moderators / experts provide guidance here? Any insights on how to tackle this OR whether this is a broader issue across a lot of applications applying in-country?

Kind regards,

Re: Delays in Skilled Worked Priority Visa

I have an Immigration Consultant helping me so I am not entirely sure on how they contacted the Home Office.
I suspect they may have used the service at https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/contact-us/general-enquiry
See if that works.

Re: Tier 2 General Dependant to Skilled Worker

Thanks. I am aware this rule applies when you are Extending a visa but in my case I am switching Visas (from dependant to skilled worker). Will this still apply? So since I had the right work as a dependant, that right will continue until I get a decision?

Can you please confirm?

Many thanks.

Tier 2 General Dependant to Skilled Worker

Hello, I am currently on Tier 2 General Dependant (expiring on 14 Jun 2022) and am now switching to Tier 2 Skilled Worker. I will be able to apply before my Visa expiry and may not get a decision on my application before my current Visa expires. In this scenario - will I still be able to continue to...

Tier 2 Dependant Validity

Hello, If my wife who is on Tier 2 General becomes eligible for ILR and moves to an ILR but I (currently on PBS Dependant) am not yet eligible (as I moved to this Visa a few months later)… is my PBS Dependant Visa still valid inspite of my wife having moved to ILR? Or since my wife now has an ILR - ...

Re: Undefined COS processing delays

Thanks for that! The employer is saying that this 'priority' service is quite convoluted involving filling up a lot of forms and having to try and apply every day morning 9 AM in the hope of getting allocated this COS? Is it really that convoluted? Also, worst case scenario if the COS doesn't get al...

ILR 10 years lawful residence

Hi, I came to the UK in Dec 2014 and have been here since (7 years and 3 months). My current Visa (Tier 2 General Dependent) expires on the 14th of June 2022. I am now switching to a Skilled Worker Visa. If we put a start date of 15th June 2022 on the new COS/Visa - can you please confirm that when ...

Re: Switch to Tier 4 dependent from Tier 2 ICT

@shetty86 - did this approach work out? 1) Is moving from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 4 Dependant possible? 2) Once you move to Tier 4 Dependant - can you continue with your current job full time? 3) As soon as you move to Tier 4 Dependant - can you immediately find a Tier 2 General sponsor and move to the T...
