Non-EEU RC holder travel to Spain with EEU spouse

Hi,

I am an EEU national, my Chinese wife has a UK issued RC card. We leave together in the UK.
We want to travel together to Spain, does she need a Schengen visa? If not, what documents we should take, apart from her RC card, in case any issues.

Many thanks,
Lucas

Re: EEA Extended Family Members, less than 2 years

Many thanks for the response.

So if we get married before the end of July she can stay just like that or do we need to apply for the RC first?

Is there a risk HO will judge that our marriage is of convenience?

Many thanks,
Lucas and Audrey

Re: EEA Extended Family Members, less than 2 years

Thank you both for your advice. What if we provide a lot of evidence that we are really in a durable partnership though we lived for 6 months only. Firstly, we are engaged. Then, my parents are coming for Christmas so we will have family pictures together, they can also provide a letter supporting o...

Re: EEA Extended Family Members, less than 2 years

Dear all

In my post I have actually made a mistake when provided a date of my partner's visa expiry - it is the end of January 2019, so our cohabitation will last approximately 5 months.

If anyone could look at this and advise that would be great.

Many thanks,
Lucas and Audrey
