Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

I received my invitation letter TODAY (06/11/2020) from the HO and it's dated 24/09/2020. My approval letter was on 22 June. (see timelines thread for my full tim...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Hi all, Few updates, last weekend I got a letter with the decision. It's POSITIVE. I am now settled! Hiccup: the letter came without the BRP. I am now waiting for the BRP to arrive. This was also a bit messy. They use DX and they don't tell you when the package will arrive. It must be signed for (f...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

What were you applying for loupiol? It seems odd to take away the same day option for visas and ILR, but I wonder if citizenship applications will also be 3-5 days when they used to take months? Also, did they say anything about not being able to travel while your application is being processed? Ye...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

can you take extra doucoment like a cover note etc and give ukvcsa to upload ? Hi everyone, Sorry for keeping everyone waiting. Work has been very busy. Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Hi everybody! Thanks everyone for their kind words. Today was THE day. I was indeed one of the lucky first ones to use the service. I arrived 15min before my appointment. Waited in the waiting room that is filled with nice sofas. There is self-service tea/coffee/light refreshments. That was quite en...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

That is helpful! So, you pay for the visa, then you pay to have an expedited decision (£477 or £610) then you pay (£200 or £260) for the Sopra Steria appointment? And if you want added services like document checking or digital assisted services, any idea what those cost? Please let us know how it ...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

My understanding is that you cannot travel while the application is being processed. However, you could apply early, pay for an early appointment and a quick decision. Thanks, do you know if there is an option for premium service in the new system? It is my wife's sister's wedding and we would real...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Thank you loupiol for keeping us in the loop! I’m glad you were able to secure a date for priority service (even though it was rather pricey!) I was wondering if you can shed some light on the priority booking. I’ve been told that the 28 days prior to visa expiration still applies. So does that mea...

Re: UKVI Digital Changes, No PEO/PSCs from October 2018?

Hi everyone, I guess I am one of the first users of the new service operated by Sopria! Given all the information I got from the forum (thanks everyone!), I want to share my experience. I'll be using the new service this Monday in the Premium Lounge in Tower Hill, London. Here's the process I've bee...
