No i wasn't. Just the normal entry stamp
What's a normal entry stamp?

If you were let in under your ILR that's terrible work by whoever looked at your passport. Really wish they would do their job properly.

Lesson learned: please ensure you have £85 in the nominated card even if you haven't heard back from Home Office on your citizenship application :)

If that is so, what is my status now?
If not a family member of EEA national?
No, you stated you have a PR card. Your relation (or non relation) to a EEA national has nothing to do with your status anymore.

You are not eligible for a civil service job.

Re: Employer requesting evidence - pre employment checks

I have briefly read the civil service eligibility document but it clearly states a family member is a spouse, registered partner etc.

If you have dissolved or divorced or whatever it's called then how exactly do you think you are eligible? :?: :?: :?:

Re: Careful - Cannot travel during naturalisation application!!!

If you are applying for naturalisation under UKVI's new front end service (UKVCAS), you may not be able to travel outside the UK while your application is under consideration: This is what the official guidance says: You should not leave the UK until you have received a decision on your application...

Re: Girlfriend (US Citizen) Refused Entry to UK (help)

Firstly I sympathise with you, I was in a very similar situation a few years ago where a foreign (ex)girlfriend of mine was denied entry to the UK while I was waiting for her at Heathrow for hours, where she was detained till her flight home the next day. I only got to spend a couple of hours with h...

Did you look at the list of accepted professions to see if it is listed?

Yes - "indefinite" and "no time limit" is the important wording. Input the number as is.
Thank you.

Re: Is an ILR viginette a document certifying permenant residency?

You need to clarify: does the entry/stamp/vignette in your old passport say "indefinite leave to remain"? Can you provide the exact wording? If it's the "ILR" then you are fine and go straight for naturalisation - say YES. Provide this as proof. If not then you will have to appl...

Is an ILR viginette a document certifying permenant residency?

Question on the application form is "Are you either:◦An EEA national who has been issued with a document certifying permanent residence" I am an EEA national with an EEA passport. In an old old passport I have my ILR viginette which states 'Residence Permit'. When it was issued my country ...
