Re: Latest Bank statement not available before application

print latest transactions in branch and get it stamped ( although not sure the bank will do that for me)

Your bank should do that for you... mine did.

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

If you actually search the forum, this has been answered 100s of times. It is the date set by the EU for all biometric documents such as brp cards and passports to be updated with more enhanced security features. UK passports change design and features every fee years already. Not got a search faci...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

SET biometric residence permit just arrived now... which is great. But just noticed an expiration date - last day of 2024. No problem really, as all photo I.D’s need replacement every few years as we age... But, a scoot around google reveals that many, many people over the last few years are having ...

Re: Submitted date vs Appointment date?

If I can help you with my experience, might help some of you... I submitted my application around 28 days prior to expiration of the then current flr m. You are then directed to make an appointment with Sopra Steria, in my case there were a couple of available slots close to me, within just 4 or 5 d...

Re: How to correct a mistake on application form which has been submitted online

For what it’s worth, I filled out my application form (set m) before I had all the necessary documents. And then submitted the application without correcting that I now had the necessary documents... of course once submitted you can’t get in and make corrections... I then made written corrections on...

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

Congratulations oh boy, is your application also for Tier1 route please. Kindly confirm. If it is, it is quite fast then. User 'ohboy' has NOT applied for a Tier 1 route application. They have applied Set M after 5 years on a spouse settlement visa route. Ahah, sorry for the confusion...CR001 is qu...

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

I like the way you guys are supporting each other on your application. Make it as simple as possible, also there is no crime in taking all your original docs with you, just in case you miss something out or one of the scanned doc is not legible etc. Wish you best of luck and keep us posted as thing...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

Yippee... I’m pleased to confirm that your application for indefinite leave to remain under Appendix FM of the immigration arrangements has now been granted. This has just arrived... It was, in retrospect, a fairly straightforward process. Though of course it was studded with moments of doubt, panic...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

Sure, that sounds right...
Certainly worth that bit extra for comfort.
I actually missed the informative email, as I was already “on the way” to the appointment. Nevertheless, they checked through what they needed to, and uploaded some bits and pieces too.

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

I have one doubt here now. OhBoy can clear it. Can Sopra Steria people see preview of ur documents? If not then paper versions should be taken to them as well. I remember attending premium service in past and they check each and every document very carefully. Even point out if u signed differently ...

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

Don’t forget, if there’s a few days between your uploading of files, and your appointment - they’ll email you if anything mandatory is missing (or not in the right place). But if, like me, your appointment follows on quite quickly after uploading of documents - time to notify you of omissions might ...

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

That’s the beauty of taking originals to the appointment. Just because something has been uploaded - it doesn’t follow that the document is legible... It also doesn’t follow, that everything is uploaded to the correct place. I “know” this. As you’ve paid to go through Sopra Steria, it would be very ...

Re: Tier 1 (Ent) to ILR

You are right about if the caseworker cannot locate the mandatory evidence under the correct heading, they may, or may not search for it elsewhere, in a different location. I may have missed the guidelines about which paperwork should go where. But, they did contact me to let me know - albeit I was ...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

Oh yes, of course - I had the email asking me to upload those copies again from Sopra... I hadn't put 2 and 2 together properly there. I thought it odd about having to upload those two papers again - but might have been to do with my naming convention of the PP copy... I should have named it applica...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

Having completed the appointment with Sopra Steria yesterday, we were told to expect to hear news/outcome within 24 hours. I’ve seen elsewhere on this forum that the 24 hours could likely be 24 working hours... presumably meaning 3 or 4 working days? So, now with the holidays intervening, could I re...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

I can only comment based on posts I have seen on this forum but firstly, I was under the impression that documents are checked at the Sopra Steria appointment. It seems your weren’t ? I have also read that documents could be uploaded until 10pm the same day as the appointment. So it should be fine ...

Re: SET (M) Life in the UK

OK. So just having returned from the Sopra Steria appointment. I found an email from UKVCAS stating that that they'd completed checks on the documents I'd uploaded. The email pointed out that 2 mandatory documents could not be found. These were a copy of the applicants passport, and a copy of the sp...
