Yes you can apply for HSMP before they turn 28 and can claim the points (20) for the same, provided their application reach Home office before your 28 B'day.

saratbabu07, you are right saratbabu07, even I confirmed from my friend that the SBI credit card comes without from date printed on it, I think you can go ahead with just expiry date in your application form. Since you have already spoken to the SBI Customer care executive so they should be no issue...

saratbabu07, I havn't came across any credit card without having a "valid from date". To my knowlodge expiry date, the start date and the 3 digit security code on the reverse are used as a validating evidence, if they did not match then the payment will be declined, so try to avoide using ...
