Hi, can anyone give a current accurate time frame for Medicals to Requests for passport? and then how long it takes for the visa to be issued from there.

Is it vital that the sponsoring partner has a job or are savings enough?

ie... enter the UK together and then look for jobs from there.

Thanks Archigabe, I'll give the Irish Embassy here in SA a call tomorrow and ask them about all of this. Reading other posts has told me they aren't always the most clued up, but hopefully having researched first, I'll be able to get decent answers from them. Mostly reading stuff gives me more quest...
