Yes he can apply for eea2. and no there is no other work permit he can apply for. for required documents, look at the eea2 form which is on the BIA website. basically you need to prove that you are married, so your marriage certificate, maybe a covering letter explaining your relationship, how you m...

if you sent in only eea2 (and not eea1 for your husband together in the same envelope), it should take up to 6 months. The home office is not very fast in these matters.

How about marrying in sweden? Have you checked what you need to do for that? For the UK visa application procedure, it does not matter where you marry. I got married in India and they did not complain about the marriage certificate, even though it looks absolutely absurd and we never even got it leg...

Regarding this situation I'm wondering something; if Punjab sends the HO a letter explaining what happened, plus supporting proof that his Hungarian wife is working now (therefore she is exercising her treaty rights), would that not give him a better chance? As I assume, once the HO processes his ca...

The consultancy lady clearly didn't have a clue what she was talking about. the EEA2 application is SPECIFICALLY for people who are of non-EU nationality. Whereas the EEA1 is for EU citizens only! Get the EEA2 form from the BIA website, read up on all the requirements and questions they ask, make su...

It is a very frustrating and irritating fact that LOADS of people have no clue about the rights of family members of EU citizens. All you can do is fight. Why should you pay NI contributions and not be entitled to NHS services.

you cannot get an eea fp from inside the uk. that is just an entry clearance to allow people inside the country.
apply with the eea1/eea2 forms instead and get a 5 year residence permit.

I dont think applying at the german embassy when you are not actually going to germany will affect any further applications; there are no border check posts so how would anyone know whether or not you actually went there? When applying, don't tell them where you are going, the form itself states tha...

the people working for GPs don't really know what rights you have. They just look at their rules which state "visa for more than 6 months" and complain about it. You should either try and convince them of your rights (and you DO have the right to treatment under the NHS!) or find another d...

We got our visa after arguing a bit about the visa fee... the application was submitted at the VFS office and the next day we had an "interview" which was nothing more than a lady checking our documents and asking for a few clarifications; took at the most 5 minutes.. (offtopic: its funny ...
