Re: Foreign Birth Registration

I got my estimated passport issue date from the tracker and it's saying, 28/11/19. Can anyone who has received their passport let me know how long it took them to get it in hand after the date of issue? I know you're not meant to book your flight until you have it, but I was kind of hoping to book ...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

Having completed my FBR and Passport journey, my wife has asked if I can help her with her FBR application. This clearly makes me a glutton for punishment. Her application has a problem that I thought I might share with this forum in the hope that her issue is not unique. The circumstances are pret...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration

In USA-at first I had no idea about a "stamp" Stamps are a very UK/Ireland thing I think - it's basically a rubber stamp with their name, address, phone number, etc on. I was surprised they asked for it, it's very retro. Not that common these days, but then business cards are quite old fa...

:?: :?: :?: Members don't have the privilege of the PM facility until they have contributed 30 posts on the forum. Hi casa, I don't have PM functionality and I have in excess of 300 posts. I have never used the PM function on any forum, so it's no major loss. However, it would be nice to have.

Updated list version with new additions. I am off to St. Petersburg for a week, before it gets unbearably cold. Edinburgh has not exactly been warm. I never used to mind the weather, but now as I am getting older (40 soon) I find that I just can't take the Scottish cold as well as I once did. I've b...
