Priority Application Algiers

Anyone applied here?
Can you pay priority for settlement upon appointment or does this need to be done prior to the appointment on TLScontact website?

Only persons applied for priority in Algiers recently pls advise, or anyone who actually knows correct answer

Thanks

Is there a list (translators regulated and recognised by UKVI) that can be found on the internet?
It may depend on the country in which you are applying.....it definitely applies to where my spouse is from originally.

I’ll try to find out and ask my solicitor for you...

Re: Marriage Certificate Issue

Hi guys So my wife (Chinese) and I (British) have two marriage certificates, one for each of us, but my wife tore hers up during one of our heated arguments. So I have a couple of questions here regarding our spouse visa application: 1. Will it be okay to send in my marriage certificate as evidence...

Property inspection lasts 3 months, IELTS valid for 2 years. Certain members encourage to over-cook the cake too much. Just follow the guidance with caution without paranoia.
Wrong property inspection report is valid for six months.... go and check with a surveyor and solicitor.

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

Someone is obviously having some fun changing what I’ve actually written
I’m not writing clearly beloved at all. I would never refer to the home office as dearly or clearly beloved!

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

Just out of interest, why when I write
C L E A R L Y dearly beloved
Does it change to dearly beloved?

I don’t know how they can refuse on those grounds .... did you not meet the financial requirement?

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

You need to seek legal counsel.
Better to have correct advice and know clearly how to proceed

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

Gary20g, isn’t that dearly beloved? Your wife is still British..... just because her parents are Indian has no bearing on your application married to a British Citizen. It’s an absolute disgrace.

Have you appealed?

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

Since British courts are not bound by the ECHR, how exactly can the citizens rely on Art. 8 when the financial requirement for the spousal visa is not fulfilled? According to paragraph EX.1 of the Home Office Immigration Rules, Art. 8 ECHR applies upon the Immigration Rules, for the spouses who alre...

Re: Spouse visa Refused based on human rights (strange)

I think because you did not conclude that your wife cannot move to Morocco , language barrier etc they have used that angle to refuse. Seems extremely unfair!

Sending Documents to Sheffield

I have quite a few documents to send to Sheffield, and was thinking of sending a box. Have been advised not to send co...

Specified Salary Appendix Form

Apologies all for this query, however it has confused me somewhat. Doesn’t seem logical.. The Appendix form asking for your current Salary. Do you list your salary as it was on your last P60 - as advised to me by a solicitor - or do I calculate my last six months pay slips - excluding bonuses - and ...
