Re: Who and When my Family Members can Apply?

Thank you very much to you all for the responses.

A final question, is it better for the two children over 18 to submit a shared application or do they have to apply individually if they both meet all the requirements?

Re: Who and When my Family Members can Apply?

Thank you for the response.

This means that my over 18 children have to wait until completing 12 months from the ILR. Isn't it?

And can my 16-year-old child apply with my wife?

Who and When my Family Members can Apply?

Hello Thank you to all the moderators for their great efforts. This is one of the greatest forums I ever subscribed to. I got my ILR 13 months ago and I applied for the naturalisation this week. My wife and 3 children (2 over 18 and one 16 years old) got their ILR 4 months ago. If I get approval bef...

Re: Naturalisation

Thank you for the responses. Yes, that's right. But, if I apply before travelling, I don't have an issue with the absence's start and end dates as I'll be physically in the UK for around 6 years. So, I'd like to know if it's OK if I apply before travelling considering the the period between issuing ...

Naturalisation

The 12-month period from getting the ILR will be complete a week after I'll travel abroad for 6 weeks of annual leave. Can I apply for the naturalisation before travelling or should I wait until returning?

Re: Issue with Biometric Enrolment

It's been around a month now since I received the notification from the home office about the issue with the biometric enrolment. However, no updates have been received from them yet although I sent a special delivery letter to enquire what I should do.

Could you please advise?

Issue with Biometric Enrolment

Hello All, Yesterday, I received the outcomes of my dependants' ILR application. It clarifies that the decision is going to be late because there has been an issue with biometric enrolment. It doesn't provide any info about which member of the family or what we have to do now. Could you please advis...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Dependent

Thanks again.

It says: "If you are aged 18 or over, you must have, or have last been granted". My understanding for "must have" is the current. So, what's the difference between it and the "have last been granted"?

Re: Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Dependent

Thanks CR001.

I am a bit confused because his last dependent visa expired in Oct 2016. At that time, he was 18 years and 3 months. Later, he got a Tier 4 visa after 8 months.

So what do you think?

You can switch your son's visa from inside UK
Thanks for your reply. Are you sure?

Someone told me that he can switch only if his last visa before being 18 years was a dependent visa. Is this correct?

Switching from Tier 4 to Tier 2 Dependent

Hello I appreciate it if you could provide me an advice. I had a tier 4 visa from Sep 2011 till Oct 2016. All my family members were living with me including my eldest son as Dependents during that period. Then, I moved with my family to work in Dubai. In Sep 2017, my eldest son return back to the U...

Re: Over 18 Dependents

Thanks CR001 for your reply. He is an adult and no he cannot apply to switch to a tier 2 dependent visa now if he is over 18. You should have switched his visa to dependent visa before he turned 18. He doesn't qualify for ILR if he holds tier 4 student visa so no, he cannot apply with you as he does...

Over 18 Dependents

Hi I am now on a Tier 2 visa and my wife and 3 children are dependents for my visa. We arrived all to the UK in the same time. Two of my children will be over 18 when I'll apply for ILR. Do they have the right to apply for the ILR with me or not (even through separate forms)? In addition, my eldest ...
