Re: SAR results

You can apply for SAR with the police to show records on the police computer tho. In the application you can add other names if you used any other in the past.

Re: How Do I Get A Settled Status BRC?

My sister has received her Settled Status today and the email does say the default 'if you do not currently hold a residence card, you should receive one in 10 working days'. She does hold a BRC valid till May 2024 so I doubt they would send a new one. She is however planning to travel in March and...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

Surely there should be away out of this. HO can’t just keep delaying the decision without explanation etc. I found this link that lists 6 things you can do in a situation like this. You can even consider taking the HO to court.

Re: More than a year since citizenship application

I applied in July 2022 for naturalisation after having ILR for more than a year. My application hasn't been processed yet. In Jan 2023 I received an email informing that the application cannot be processed within six months due to an "IT issue". I raised the issue with MP and nationality ...

Their application likely to be ongoing and under consideration, you can always contact the HO on FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk and seek their views on the kids application.

If someone has an expired brp and expired refugee travel document, and no other passport, is that going to be a problem for Naturalisation? Thanks.
Don’t see a problem there really. Do you have ILR or SS?

Yes, 6 months have not expired yet and the home office did not ask for any extra documents or information. But Im so afraid. My question to you is, do you think I should send an e-mail to the home office or should I wait for 6 months to pass? You can always email and ask but for, what we see from o...

Re: Refugee + EU settled scheme

They would have cancelled your refugee BRP after granting you the SS but you are still a refugee and have protection. You can also still apply for a travel document to travel etc. I was in the same situation before I changed my status from refugee to SS. Thank you so much for your reply MuhammadM86...

Re: Citizenship application advice - employment

We don't need to overthink this. Being employed is not a requirement for naturalisation - the question only is there to check where someone is employed if they are or to make them submit tax records if the applicant declares they are self employed. Most likely not a deal breaker and it only has two...

They sent me an email saying I missed a document.: In order to process the SAR request made we require a signed letter of aut...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries

We don't know how and why things are delayed. There's no magic information or solution we can provide, unfortunately. Your best bet is to forget about it till it's approved. I was waiting for (Irish) naturalization for almost 2 years, so I can imagine what you're experiencing, but that's just how g...
