I've never been checked when I left the UK before. This was a surprise to me. I don't know if this was a RANDOM check or a permanent procedure after the Glasgow bombing. When I was leaving from Heathrow T3 in June, before the Glasgow bombing, every passport was systematically checked after security.

If you are going to boast about Japanese grammar being better than the natives', get the apostrophe in the right place! I said "often" better, not "always" better. :wink: Putting the apostrophe in the "right" place didn't look right at the end of a sentence followed by...
