Yes that seems like an error, you are eligible to be on Tier 2 until 13/03/2022.

Write to them, there's no harm in asking.

Paid £1800 in total with 2 dependents for 3 years ( 3 years * 3 dependents * £200 = £1800), they refunded £ 900.

I submitted passport and BRP in mandatory and payslips/bank statements etc in other docs. I haven't uploaded any contract though.

I haven't even received any email yet from them

Rang HO helpline ( which I believe is outsourced) on 31st Jan after completing 8 weeks from Biometric and was told to wait 3-5 working days for HO to get in touch. They can’t even tell you the status of application unless HO directly inform you.

If it is more than 8 weeks for you then you should ring HO. If you have already rung, what did they say?

No fund maintenance is required for Tier 2 Extension application from within UK. It even says on application form once you have submitted that you do not have to prove 'English' & 'Funds Maintenance'.

Not sure about ISA & change of employer application.

Over 7 weeks but haven’t heard anything yet. Guy who posted on ‘In country timeliness’ and got decision very quick was for Tier 4 to Tier 2 switch and not Tier 2 extension.

Yes it was approved second time. I know it can be really stressful. As long as you submit your second valid application within your grace period so I believe it should be fine.

But, please do refer to the guide and immigration rules on gov website.

Home office is normally able to retrieve your original documents if you explain everything in the cover letter referring to your first visa application. I know somebody who submitted photocopies in second application b/c originals were held by HO but this case I am referring to was back in Jan-2016 ...

They do not issue any receipt under new system after biometric. It normally takes 6-8 weeks for the decision to be made.

I'm in the same boat. Applied for Tier 2 General visa extension under new system Sopra Standard Service (upto 8 weeks).

Biometric done on 06/12/2018 and have not heard back anything since then. Completed 6 weeks today from Biometric.

Lets hope for the best.
