Certified translation of Japanese birth certificate

Hi Can anyone please recommend any reputable companies/individual which will translate my daughter's Japanese birth certificate? This forms part of the process to apply for a UK passport. I also understand that they have to be a member of a recognised professional translation body. I've obviously go...

Hi gang I'm a British citizen and I've just recently got married to a Japanese woman with a fiance visa and now we want to embark on changing her immigration status. Fiance Visa information

Good afternoon everyone,

Re: the accommodation section of the fiance visa application form.

I'm a home owner and they are asking for a letter from my bank proving I have a mortgage.

Will my mortgage statement suffice or do I have to contact my bank and ask for what will be an expensive letter?

Thanks again people.

I think the fiance visa is the way to go, I have to propose to her now.

Can anyone give a rough estimate on how long the British embassy in Tokyo could take in issuing the visa?

Thanks in advance.
