Re: Alternative evidence of your residence in the UK [EEA route]

The letter from Home Office says:

Before we can proceed further please send scanned copies of the following documents to @homeoffice.gov.uk by 28 September 2021

Do they mean "before 28th" OR "before or on 28th September" ?

Re: Alternative evidence of your residence in the UK [EEA route]

We have time till 28th September. If we don't meet the deadline the application will be refused.

We can ask institutions to send me some documents and hopefully some of them will send them before the deadline.

What are the best documents to satisfy that request?

Alternative evidence of your residence in the UK [EEA route]

My wife got a response from a caseworker as shown below. She didn't work for most of her qualifying period as she stayed home and looked after our son. When she was initially submitting an application she attached all P60s and payslips for the periods she had worked. She also attached Council Tax bi...

Her qualifying period is 2016/03 - 2021/03 We are struggling with the following document check-list items: - evidence that you have been lawfully in the UK for 3 or 5 year qualifying period. This should be evidence that you wer...

Re: Form MN-1, professional referee

From what I've seen in other posts they never say no if some docs are missing.
Usually they ask for missing bits or ask for clarification.
Should be fine.

Form MN-1, professional referee

I need two referees for my child's application. I've already got a British citizen's reference. However I've found it difficult to get hold of a reference from "professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity". When I contacted GP they said I should contact the schoo...

Non-working EU citizen with no CSI, any chance for citizenship?

My wife was employed for just 5 months in her 5 year qualifying period. She was looking after our child for most of that period. I was the only one financially supporting our family. She didn't have Comprehensive Sickness Insurance (CSI) as she wasn't aware of that requirement. She's had a life/term...

Re: cheaper route to get child a citizenship

I forgot to mention that my son was born in the UK. Does it change anything? When did the parents move to the UK? Does the parents have solely A8 nationalities or do they have other EEA nationalities? The parents moved to the UK in 2013, they both have A8 (Polish) nationality only. They got settled...

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

There was a couple of appointments available in the morning.
I was able to book a paid one.
Probably the free ones had gone straight after midnight.
So yeah I confirm they add in new appointments everyday.
Thanks!

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I submitted my application and uploaded supporting documents.
I went to book biometrics and turned out that all in my area are already booked out.

The website says that they work at lower capacity.

How much time do I have to do biometrics?

Re: Final checks before submitting: supporting docs, LTD, mixed employment types, ambiguous questions

Thanks a lot for your help. Should I include in the Employment Details the time I was unemployed (1 month) after arriving into the UK ? I've got a "Director" entry in my employment list. After I left my company as an employee (got P45 and took up a contract) I was still its director for an...

Re: Final checks before submitting: supporting docs, LTD, mixed employment types, ambiguous questions

Thank you @alterhase58, especially for pointing out the 10 year employment history. I wasn't aware of that. A few questions have arised from it. I came to the UK back in September 2013. I formed my company and issued my first invoice in October the same year. Eventually I got the first payslip from ...

Final checks before submitting: supporting docs, LTD, mixed employment types, ambiguous questions

I'm going to submit my application (EEA citizen route) soon. The vision of loosing 1300 pounds is pretty scary. Therefore I check my application again and again and looking for possible mistakes. Eventually I ended up with some questions. Also I'll appreciate any comments or suggestions. Just to giv...

Re: Supporting documentation for naturalisation with Settled Status

Not aware of that advice - as company directors mainly don't get paid through PAYE (P60), which ensures automatic NI contributions, it would be your self-assessment returns or company accounts whichever you submit to HMRC. I also was company director during my qualifying period. I was contracting f...

Fees for multiple applicants

I'm going to apply for BC and include my wife and our child (dependants).
The total payable fees would be around £4000.
Will I be refunded:
- for every unsuccessful dependant?
- the total fees if the main applicant (me) won't succeed?
Cheers

EEA PR, self-employed route, LTD director

I am a EU national. I came to the UK in 09/2013. I've been self-employed (LTD director) since 10/2013. I would like to proof that I excercised EU treaty rights from 10/2013 to 10/2018. As a proof of residence I am going to produce water bills for the period. Regarding the self employment I am going ...
