Deportation from Canada

Hello guys,

I have got a friend of mine who was deported from Canada last year.
Is there any chance he might be successful if he would file application for skiled immigration?
Does he have a chance to be admited to Canada in any category?
Any experiences with this?

Thanks

Your partner must have worked 12 months under WRS and then she would be able to apply for a UK/EEA Residence Card. Make it 5 years since that date = point when she would be able to apply for ILR. Now make it another 12 months since that = point when she would be able to apply for Nturalization as a...

Re: No ILR for EEA citizens from 30 April 2006 ?

I have read: The most significant change is that from 30 April 2006 any EEA Or Swiss national (or their family member) who has been exercising free movement rights in the UK for a continuous period of five years will, at the end of that period, become automatically entitled to permanent residence i...

Re: Question about FMRS and EEA1-2 procedure

Hello Forum Members, I have been writing here for a while but it seems there is always something coming up regarding our FMRS just to keep us excited. I (Hungarian) already registered with WRS in Febr. and my wife (Venezuelan) put in the FMRS app. in March. She got a job in May. Somehow they did no...

Re: Immigration options for my nonEEA brother.

I am very thankful for your answer.

Last question:

Would he be eligible at least for EEA family permit to visit me for 6 months?
If he would not file any other application. Let say he just want to visit me. Or he needs to apply for visitor visa.

Thanks.

Re: Immigration options for my nonEEA brother.

[/quote] The answer would be "no", you cannot sponsor him, because he is not dependent on you - he has a job so he is financially secure. Regardless of his immigration status (i.e. that he is an asylum seeker), since he is working (legally) there is no impetus to assume that he is wholly o...

Re: Immigration options for my nonEEA brother.

What does your brother do to support himself in the US? Is he allowed to work, study, etc? Do you support him in any way? Also, what does your partner do (job-type, is he financially secure)? The EEA permit does not give you the automatic right to sponsor brothers or sisters, and it is very hard to ...
