What evidence for settled status (retained rights)?

I'm applying for settled status as its just gone 5 years since I first entered on family permit. My EU spouse and I are now divorced but I qualify to remain under retained rights. Wondering if anyone can help me with what docs to supply to support having retained my rights? The settled status applic...

Re: What date will I be eligible for settled status?

Forgot to add the other question: Is it possible to apply for settled status from abroad. I might be having to return to my home country for up to 5 months. If I am abroad on the date I become eligible, can I apply from abroad and be granted settled status still? I would likely have been away from t...

I got pre-settled status in february 2019 granting me leave until February 2024. We have since divorced and I have retained my rights. My question is, when am I eligib...

I am divorced from my EEA spouse and have retained my rights and under the settlement scheme will be granted settled status in 2021. I know usually you have to wait one year before applying for citizenship, however, I have a new partner who is a british citizen. If we get married, can I apply straig...

Re: Can you apply for retained rights with decree nisi?

The relevant period for consideration of document, is the date of initiation, but you must be divorced for you to be considered, as a person has right of residence until their marriage is terminated by competent authority. Thanks for your reply. I suppose it feels as though you should be able to ap...

Can you apply for retained rights with decree nisi?

Hi there, I'm reading conflicting advice online - most people on this forum and online say you MUST have your decree absolute in order to apply for retained right of residence, however, the official government guidance to home office workers judging the cases (link: https://assets.publishing.service...

Retained rights and PR after EEA 2

Hello, my EEA spouse and I have been living together in the UK as a married couple for 2y 5m (Spouse has been here over 5 years and has settled status, I am pre settled). We have decided to separate amicably. We have no plans to divorce any time soon as this isn't important to us. Thinking forward -...

Re: EEA PR / Settled Status

Thanks for your response. I don’t have and android phone so can’t access the app and not sure it will advise me about settled status as I’m currently only eligible for the pre-settled status. Hence why I’m looking for advice from someone who might know here

Settled status after being on multiple visas

Hello. I’ll try to keep this brief. I moved to the UK in August 2014 on a tier 5 youth mobility visa. This expired in 2016. While living in the uk I met my husband. We wed in Nov 16 and I re-entered the UK on a EEA Family Permit in December 2016 and now hold a 5 year eea family member residence card...
