ok got you... your passport has your father's name as the middle name. Ideally shouldn't matter but better check with UKBA. They should have all required documents you had submitted scanned somewhere. They dont normally encourage sending duplicate documents but you may if you want to play safe (if i...

All you need is last 12 months payslips+Bank statements + Letter from current employer(if possible) and la...

Is it only Croydon that is getting affected? I would have thought they use some sort of centralised system for biometrics. fingers crossed.
Did they say how they will let you know when to collect the documents and the result of the application?

Thing is no where else in the form it asks about the current visa and it's details. So just confused a bit about which details to fill in D2...

Well in my wife's case she didn't make a fresh application.. instead we appealed and the decision was overtturned by High commision itself. i.e. didn't have to go to the tribunal. So no new application.

Seniors please suggest!
thanks

well once you file in POST i.e local BHC they should ideally send you a acknowledgment letter. and once and if they overturn the refusal they will notify you by letter (ordinary post I think). You can also call up Visa section in bhc.. but extremely difficult to get someone... opens 1 - 3 p.m India ...

1) No refund. if you want to make a fresh application and not wait for the appeal's result it's ur choice and not BHC has no involvement. the goodside of appeal is it doesnt cost and may be worth trying ur luck if it gets overturned soon by BHC :) but that's luck. I just tried the same after suggest...
