unfortunately the waiting time is over 12 months now. Somebody on here said it took them 17 months to get theirs. :( I'm hoping mine doesn't take that long. I didn't bother using a solicitor as i don't think they can do much to speed up the process. I think the only thing you can do is wait which is...
My wife was just chatting with a woman (US National) that applied for and received her Stamp 4 in less than 3 months. Showed marriage license, proof and source of income, had private medical insurance, PPSN and Proof of Address when she applied. It may be just a matter of having the proper document...
I'm a UK citizen (living in Ireland 29yrs) Application based on being married to an Irish born national for 19yrs applied February 2018. Return of passport and receipt of application fee February 2018. I haven't received anything else since still waiting. I emailed them two or three times but just ...
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone out there had been in touch with SOIN department about what month of applications they are currently processing? My husband and I sent our application for spouse of an Irish National to get his Stamp 4 back in July 2018. This wait is getting really tough s...
Did it say specifically he had “permission to remain in the state under stamp 4 conditions” Or did it say “permission to remain in the state”. The latter is what it said on our letter when we got our confirmation letter along with our original documents back. By the way they return your original doc...
Congratulations! I’m not too sure about the process of getting it. If you don’t mind me asking - what did it say in the letter that you received from SOIN? When myself and my husband applied over 8 months ago the only thing the letter said was the he had permission to remain in the state but said no...
Thanks for the information - I’m hoping that we would be a straightforward case since we were able to provide all necessary documentation that they required. We got our acknowledgment letter on the 5th of July 2018. Have you heard of any applications being processed after this date by any chance? Th...
That’s terrifying that somebody is still waiting over two years for it.
I don’t think myself and my husband could afford to wait that long - the financial strain of only one income has been tough. I’ll just have to hope to get a little lucky I guess.
I have the feeling they used to issue temporary stamps while people were waiting for their applications to be processed but I don't think they issue them anymore.
I have been waiting 7.5 months and when I emailed asking if it were possible they said no.
