I am appalled by that, but thanks for sharing your experience. Historically section 1(3) applications have been dealt with in under a month, quite often in 2 to 3 weeks. After all such applications are an entitlement, no UKBA discretion involved. UK2US, if I were you, I would get ILR for your child...

Uk allowance and indian salary

Hi,

My friend is planning to apply for Tier 1 general visa.

He is earning around 42k per year in UK and 3lacs per year in India but he is physically located in UK.

He is getting 70points if he doesn’t consider Indian salary.

If Indian salary is consider can we use 5.3 multiplier??
