You attest photocopied documents, in this case your salary slips are original. I don't see any issue using them without any letter or stamp or sign.

About your second problem, you can claim previous earnings for any CONTINOUS 12 months in the last 15 months. True Please note that there is no gap allowed in between those 12 months. What ? but you have came here as Hightly skilled migraint. If that is the criteria, there are lot of people, which do jobs which are not highly skilled. Am I missing something here. I think everything is free with exception of fixed prescription charges. When I said everything, it means surgery, x-ray, any tests eg. CT scan etc. Imagine how much it cost , if done privately.

For the first travel, dependents cannot travel alone.. There is no such rule, we can find anywhere in UKBA' documents. But, It's logical to think that dependent must make first entry with or after main applicant. Someone posted pretty recently that his dependents entered UK before the main applican...
