Hi All, I want to share the good news that I have. My dependents got their Tier 1 visas stamped on Feb 24. I managed to get a letter from German Consulate saying that the application was only a withdrawl and not a refusal. I resubmitted the application with this letter. Without going to appeal, the...

Here we go again !!. This time applicants after Nov 2006 have no legal recourse since they signed a declaration saying they will abide by rule changes and do not assume extension rules will be the same in the future. Like last time I expect the HO to make extension applicants abide by the new rules...

I'm not sure, if this applies people, who already are in UK? Because in her statement Ms Smith clearly said, "who want to enter UK". Plus, it's not easy to apply this rule to existing T1/HSMP holders, as it already backfired them once. And imagine trouble employers will face to replace and...

Re: Think twice before applying for HSMP/Tier1

I agree that UK is expensive country as other developed country, but cost of living varies from person to person. If you are living in London, in my opinion you can live without car(atleast till you are comfortable with economic position) and so does without associated cost. It's not mandatory cost....

t So there is no threat of having to go back to your country of origin. Every immigration system has it's pros and cons. Remember Aus/Canada immigrations applications takes lots of time on application. And one should not think , returning to own country is threat. :) UK Tier 1 only gives you a two ...

I agree, your employer probably isn't aware of the specifics, but the reality is that you already have the right to work in the UK through your Tier 1. I wouldn't switch to Tier 2, since it will tie you to this employer. Question here is not about whether he is able to work with his T1 for his empl...
