I got a copy of my birth certificate as i believe that the authorities require one which has been issued in the last 30 days prior to marrying. From the stories i have read your best option is to at least pass through France.... it will help you next time you need a Shengen visa... No one likes a user lol!!

So he would not need one if passport control honnoured the EU directive 2004/38/ec .. but because the lack of awareness lets say just get one and don't try to pass through on the EU directive condition (not worth the trouble!!)

If they require anything else and wish to interview your husband then you get given a list with ticked boxes on. But you seem to have all the relevant ones. The photos are usually given back until the day of the interview, iam only going on my own experience and watching others at the Embassy.

Yes the comments don't bother me, i just wondered if the lady had the same concerns at the start of the relationship. I love my husband and we are open about the comments people feel the need to pass. To be fair stories like this give people cause for concern and caution. Its a sad world when people...

Thank you, we have decided if we can't live in the UK then of course we will move there once the baby is born, but convincing them that would be a task and half. His interview is the 21st of this month and i hope to go back to Albania on Sunday... then return to give birth here, all i can do is hope...
