With regards to your job, I think, if you have a cos assigned you can start your work without waited Ng for visa decision as per covid specific guidelines. The user applied for a tier 2 DEPENDENT visa. No cos involved, so this doesn't apply. CR001 :In general for a lead T2 General applicant as long...
I am not jumping into people topics. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-temporary-uk-residents#if-you-want-to-cancel-your-visa according to this website, does it mean that only in this period (24 January 2020 and 31 July 2020) only? If I don't receive an email this week inviting me to use IDV app as a March applicant, I am thinking of opting out. Otherwise, based on their "few weeks" "phased" timeframe, I might end up waiting for another month.
Can you opt out without having received the IDV email ?

Good for you ! perhaps they have new criteria or some edge cases for Biometric reuse. Eitherway you get an appointment quickly than the rest of us who are waiting for reuse next steps. Go for it - all the best . I am in the same boat , changing Employers soon in September. But waiting for next steps...
Not everyone has received the email asking for documents. There is a Submit to UKVI button on the document upload page , and if you have already clicked it I presume you may not receive the email. I havent either , I applied mid June,.
Hello All / Moderator : I have applied for a Tier 2 General Visa with a new employer with a CoS job start date in September 2020. My current T2 only expires in 2022. I spoke to the UKVI call center today and they say they typically make an announcement at the start of the month , so we should hope for something next week hopefully. Hope it relates to the Biometrics .
