Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just saw this new ILR Set O success story of a June applicant. https://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-timelines-set-o-set-f-set-m-not-set-lr-pls-t231555-1120.html#p1917179 So far the success stories seem to be from those who have "attended" an appointment in pers...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Dear Gurus, I applied on 30/04/2020, and I did not receive any email from UKVCAS and UKVI, I contacted them before because I thought that I am eligible for re-use scheme. Today I contacted them and I gave them UAN, they surprised and they said we are so sorry because the HO asked us to start May, J...

“ If you are likely to be eligible for this new process, UKVI has asked us not to invite you for an appointment. If you are one of these cases we will let you know by email – look out for the subject line ‘COVID-19: Update as a result of new UKVI Policy’.”

Thanks a ton !

Any idea if they are going to send biometric reuse for June applicants? Haven’t heard anyone getting biometric biometric reuse email so far for June applicants Most probably yes. Will have to wait and see till 23rd. @CULLILAN : Is the ILR appointment backlog queue separate from the Tier 2 Visa appo...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Its just my speculation: Maybe once UKVCAS opens up to applicants within a certain date period, the system pushes out emails in alphabetical order rather than date order. As some reported receiving the email earlier than who applied on a previous date, it might be their email address starts with an...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

I already contacted UKVI and UKVCAS and lodged complaints with both of them. I am identified for biometric re-use and the UKVCAS announcement still says "few weeks" which drives me crazy. I still can not understand why did they identify people for biometric reuse if the system wasn't read...

I submitted by online application on 5th of June and was now able to book an appointment at UKVCAS in Croydon. Do we need to submit empty pages in passport also during ILR application ? Is this mandatory as I got 59 pages in my previous and 36 pages in current passport. As has been posted many times now, it is biometric page and stamped pages only. I was not aware stamped pages are also needed. The checklis...

Hello All :

Does anyone know if we can choose priority option for Tier 2 General applications if I were to apply next week ? I was wondering if that Option is available when you submit the form currently.

Same Employer - ICT to Tier 2 General ( high earner category )

Hi - I am on an ICT visa currently since 2014 . My salary has increased to upwards of £160,000 . Can my employer now convert my visa on Tier 2 General and is that allowed given I am in the high earners bracket. IF possible can this be done in-country or do I need to apply from my home country ? than...
