rg1 wrote:I'm soon going to apply for ILR.

I understand I need to fill up SET(O) form.

But does my spouse [my dependant] need to fill up any form of her own?

Or only SET(O) filled up by me will do?

Thanks
Only one SET(O) form for main applicant and his/her spouse and any kids under 18 age.

Okay. After several cross references, I figured out that the postal ILR waiting time is 70% of the applications are decided in 4 weeks and 90% within 14 weeks. It is not 6 months for all the applications. I got this info from HO personnels, four different people have confirmed this. That said, I am...

Republique and Bani said well. This is the real things to consider. What I can add is that if continuous employment is one pre condition to be successful in HSMP ILR , then no HSMP applicant won't / wouldn't be successful as each and every HSMPian ( who applied from outside UK) didnt get job just a...

If one's ILR case is straight forward I think he/she can apply it with out any agency/solicitor . Just he/she needs is that a bit discussion in the right forum to remove any confusion, if any. Moreover SET(O) form is very very simple, any skilled ppl can fill in easily.

In theory, you will fall into the category ii who should be able to apply the ILR under this ILR JR. However, I know what you mean because in this same policy document, page 2, paragrpah 5a does say "The migrant has spent a continuous period of four years lawfully in the United Kingdom, of whi...

Can benefit be claimed retrospectively for backdated ILR ?

We HSMPians don't believe in enjoying state benefit unnecessary. We want to work and enjoy our UK immigrant status with as much as less getting benefit. I think all HSMPians will be agreed with me. But some times circumstances can force you to claim state benefit like current economic down turn and ...
