oh... dear, Sorry to hear. They should provide proper answer to you. Atleast they should return extra premium charge for your case because whatever they provided, it was not a premium service ;). yes, you should take a letter from your employer conforming your salary. Caseworker first duty is to compare payslip salary with bank statement transaction, if he can not find same amount in bankstatement then he definetely not accept that one as a source of evidence.

You can not send any documents once you submitted your application. This is mentioned clearly in reference letter which you recieve from home office. I can not see any problem about your claiming. Today I applied inperson appointment in Croydon office. I got visa. My appoint was 10'0 clock. I got my visa around 2.30PM.
