Prem12 your quote that there is no other sector that has pay as high as IT is neither correct or factual (just do a google search). For your information, the IT boom burst 7 years ago and IT pay is no different from any other average sector. Infact, it is now harder for IT professionals to justify a...

EC: Full Immigration Rules - Highly skilled migrants

I have been on this board for a short while and it has proven to be most useful. I have read many threads including HSMP case worker manuals for stage 1 approval and FLR through links on this forum. However, I haven't come across any case worker notes on EC. Therefore, I thought the links below woul...

Re: Letter from Employer

My employer letter was simple. In my opinion, as long as the information can be corroborated with an income tax form or wagslips then thats it. Employer contact details are also needed on the cover letter. VV Sample of my employer letter VV COMPANY LOGO AND ADDRESS MY ADDRESS DATE Dear Mr XXXX Re: G...

Re: Letter from Employer

Are the gross details on the letter 100% the same as the gross details on the payslips (ie currency) without any discrepancies? Does the gross amount match 100% the gross amount on the payslips without any discrepancies? Is the letter on headed paper and signed? If the answer is yes to all three the...

Going by past experiences, royal mail special delivery is the best under the Royal Mail options during strikes. However that may still be an extra £4 for a deliver that takes longer than usual. Others like DHL, FedEx are obviously not affected and you can find out from them and the HO if thats poss...

Re: Filling the HSMP form

I suggest you use your hand writing to fill it up. Somehow unlike CV's or cover letters, people still prefer and trust the old fashioned hand writing when it comes to such application forms.

Re: Vocational / Professional study recognition

The best thing to do is write to the professional bodies that assess the professional qualifications and ask them to produce a letter which shows the equivalency. You do not need a NARIC letter for UK qualifications. Please note that the HO accepts letters from "appropriate" professional b...

Re: What if P60 does not cover entire duration?

Send the P60 (but don't tick the box for tax return in the previous earnings section). Explain that your P60 covers only part of the period and that you have supplied 1. Bank statements and/or 2. Letter from employer in addition to your wage slips. At the end of the application form on the last page...

Re: Hi

Good!!!! Now log yourself out of the forum and post your student visa extension application NOW via guaranteed next day 9am by Royal Mail. It has to reach Croydon before the expiry date. That will give you the time you need to complete the HSMP appeal process. All the best.

Re: HSMP Rejected - URGENT!!!

Your application was for initial approval and not FLR so the best course of action is leaving and appealing from abroad otherwise you risk being an overstayer on your student visa. All the best.

Re: integra check - can't make head or tail

Mate, you've said it, integra applies to EC from India. I suggest you go to the British High Commission website of your country. BHC policy varies from country to country and not all have an integra system. Integra might not even apply in your case anyway!

Use the same HSMP1 guidance notes, the website of your local british high commission. HSMP1 notes on EC is very limited so it wouldn't hurt e-mailing or calling them as well for further guidance.

Re: Annual leave payout considered as part of previous earni

As long as the gross and net shows on your payslip and the net corroborates with salary on your bank account then you are ok and good to go.

Anything else like it showing on a seperate letter and not payslip and bank account would be unacceptable.

Hi, just a few questions: 1. Are the salary slips orginal formal payslips or plain paper payslips? 2. Did you provide only e-mail id for employer checks? 3. Is it a formal HR e-mail or private yahoo/hotmail of someone who works in HR? 4. I assume the bank statements you provided are for the overseas...
