There is an update to EU settlement scheme if you got your upgraded card you can't update your ID anymore I don't know is temporary because of the virus or permanently

Yes she have to unless you applied now for citizenship and your application been successful and you got your citizenship so she can apply as soon as you become British citizen so she doesn't need to wait for the full year if she meets the other requirements
