Re: ILR - 10 year long residency route

Thanks Zimba. However my point is if i meet RlTRPT 1.1 a, b & c then I should be granted visa on 5 years route however solicitor said HO only put people on 10 year routes which was shocking because as per the immigration rules one can get 5 year route. And now that I know i meet all of the requi...

Re: ILR - 10 year long residency route

I went to see a solicitor to take advice on writing a complaint or apply to switch on 5 year route. Solicitor said there is no such provision to switch to 5 year if you have a British child. I doubt this solicitors competency and knowledge. Please advice. If i meet all the requirements is it possibl...

Re: ILR - 10 year long residency route

As i was granted - parent visa- 10 year route under paragraph RLTRPT - section1.1.a,b & d. After reading about this paragraph I understood that i meet relationship requirements and immigration status requirements, so I don’t understand why i was put on 10 year route and not on 5 years because i ...

Just gone through the Flr parent visa - 10 year route approval letter from HO... i meet the requirements under RLTRPT - 1.1 a,b & d.. where d is about meeting relationship requirements and immigration status requirements. So my application was considered law full and not overstayer. So the 2 cri...

Re: ILR - 10 year long residency route

So currently i am on FLR(FP) - 10 year route. You recommend I should switch to 5 year route and after 5 years apply for ILR. Is that correct? For example, my current visa is valid for another year. If i take a chance and apply for ILR on the long residency basis, and if refused, is my current visa w...
