Surely if your wife is applying then she is the applicant on form SET(O) so not sure what you mean by 'add her name'. It is ONLY her application. I just spoke with our GP and Health visitor both of them said they don't provide references.

My landlady is a lecturer, can i use one reference from her and the other from a British Citizen?
