Hi all, my wife has been approved for a type d visa and we will be moving to Ireland together in April. The Join Family Visa mentions that she will need travel insurance, but doesn't say how long she should apply for. Anyone have any advice on this?

Once you get your passport,can you travel immidiately? Or is there a waiting period?

You can travel immediately, but on the visa there is a date stated, and you need to have presented yourself at a port of entry by this date.
