Re: Switching from Tier 2 to skilled worker for Tier 1 dependant

That is helpful, thank you. As read in other threads, I will use a Set (O) form for the ILR applications of my dependants and use the option for Skilled worker visa.

Re: Switching from Tier 2 to skilled worker for Tier 1 dependant

Hi all, Apologies for reopening this thread but I wanted to double check before I go ahead. I have now applied for a switch from Tier 1 Entrepreneur to Skilled worker yesterday (decision pending). I and 3 PBS dependants will complete 5 years in UK until June 10th 2024 on T1 Ent. route and hence elig...

Re: Switching from Tier 2 to skilled worker for Tier 1 dependant

Thank you all for your advice. I will move into Tier 2 now and apply for ILR a month after that. My dependants will complete 5 years until June 10th 2024, so we will aim to apply for ILR all together at once.

Re: Switching from Tier 2 to skilled worker for Tier 1 dependant

Thank you. And if I (Tier 1 Ent) switch to Tier 2 skilled worker, can I directly apply for ILR immediately? You would need at least one month with a new employer to have a payslip and bank statement before you can apply for ILR. So it appears that I need to switch to Tier 2, wait a month and then a...

Re: 50K route funds transfer from business to personal after investment

After reading the guidance in detail and discussion with my accountant, I will do the following: - Show unaudited accounts for Jan 2021 - Jan 2022, showing my full investment. That is my company accounting period anyhow. I will invest the additional £2K to round up to the £50K - Show business bank s...

Re: 50K route funds transfer from business to personal after investment

Yes, you can invest another 10K before you file for your extension. Your accountant then needs to prepare a management accounts for the part year. I have already submitted the application but still have the possibility to upload documents before BRP appointment next week. Just to be clear there is ...

Re: 50K route funds transfer from business to personal after investment

Because he only saw accounts up to Jan. 2022 while filing accounts.

This is a nightmare for me now since I do not seem to fulfil the £50K. Can I show this £10K as salary or perhaps put this back into the business account?

It was not recorded as salary, so no PAYE etc. was setup.

We have no revenues or profit.

Re: 50K route funds transfer from business to personal after investment

Thanks for the response. No specific reason was mentioned for transfer, but it is for personal expenses. Some further details: - Additional investment of £80K from an angel investor was recorded in Sep. 2021 - I withdrew around £8K from Feb.2022 - May 2022 from business account to personal account f...

50K route funds transfer from business to personal after investment

Hello, I have my Tier 1 Ent. extension 50K route next week and have a question related to accounts. I have invested £50K in 4 lots distributed throughout 2021. Investment was direct cash transfer from my personal account to business account (Director's loan). Now in Jan 2022, I transferred £2K from ...

Pre-settled for job criteria

Hello, I am currently on Tier 1 Ent. visa and due for 1st extension in June 2022. I want to clarify 2 things: 1. Can we hire people with pre-settled status to fulfil job criteria for this visa? 2. What proof should we show that the job is full-time and no part-time. Is this through employee contract...

Re: Switch from T1 GE to T1E 50K route

Hello,

I assume that the new UKVCAS system allows applicants to upload documents online. In that context, I will need a digital version of the third party letter and not the original one. Is that correct? I just want to save time and also avoid losing the document in international post.

Re: Switch from T1 GE to T1E 50K route

Thanks for the response. I can't see any reason why you can't mention the business name. In fact, it might even help show your business plan as genuine. Two reasons why I do not want to mention business name in the third party funding letter. 1. It may be construed that money is available to the bus...

Re: Switch from T1 GE to T1E 50K route

That is helpful, thank you. Regarding point 2, I do not fulfill the 90-day consecutive period unfortunately. But now, the money is in my account. Therefore I need 2 additional letters from third party: 1. A declaration from every third party that they have made the money available to invest in your b...
