If you sent your passport and documents via special delivery and the HO is now saying that it was not included, it unfortunately is your word against thiers. This happened to me and I had to re-apply for a passport from my home country's embassy in London. The Home Office will need to give you a let...

We had a similar experience, the HO called apologising for the delay. They did say our case has been 'considered and decided upon'. My husband took the called and asked what was the decision and they said approved. Your file will be sent to Croydon to have the residence permit endorsement placed in ...

They have no grounds to refuse you entry as all of this would have been checked in order for the HO to issue you the residence cards in the first place. Asking would be, I think, just to see if your circumstances have changed or not and I would guess a formality. I recently was asked the same questi...

Once the EEA national has completed the 5 years of legal residence they can normally submit an application for PR via the EEA 3 form. I would not worry about being scared to call. There seems to be a huge delaye in processing EEA applications, I suspect, because of the change of addresses to which applications should be sent to and the way in which they are processed as a result of this. I am in the same situation, my residence ca...

The residence permit is a sticker endorsed in the passport for applicants who applied for leave to remain the the UK under EU Law.

As your wife has a spouse visa, so long as doe not expire in anything up to 3 months, she will be fine to apply for a Schengen visa in London.
